To qualify, your planks need to be:

• 4mm to 8mm thick.

• From the same brand and color.

What Planks Do We Need From You?

The number of planks you'll need to separate for us depends on how many stair noses you're ordering:

• Mode A (16 Stair Noses): Separate at least 36 planks.

• Mode G (20 Stair Noses): Separate at least 44 planks.

• Mode X (24 Stair Noses): Separate at least 48 planks.

How to Calculate Your Plank Needs

Figuring out how many boxes of LVP you need is simple!

1. Planks Per Box:

First, find out how many individual planks come in one box of your LVP. This is usually printed right on the box packaging.

Then, use this easy formula: Number of Boxes Needed=Total Planks Required÷Planks Per Box

2. Square Footage Per Box:

While we need specific plank counts, you might also want to know the square footage per box. Here's how:

• Step 1: Area of One Plank

  • Measure your plank's length and width in inches.

  • Calculate: (Length in inches×Width in inches)÷144=Square Feet Per Plank

• Step 2: Total Square Footage Per Box

  • Multiply: (Square Feet Per Plank)×(Number of Planks Per Box)=Total Square Feet Per Box

Quick Tip: The easiest way to confirm square footage is to check the "coverage area" or "sq. ft. per box" printed directly on your LVP box.
